Ludwig van Beethoven Association in cooperation with the Conspero Foundation will produce the New Year’s concert dedicated to the memory of Fryderyk Chopin (1810–1849) in the building of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, at 7 p.m. on 5th January 2010. The project, whose honorary patron is the Speaker (Marshal) of the Polish Senate, Bogdan Borusewicz, was prepared in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth in 2010. The programme includes a piano recital by Krzysztof Jabłoński illustrated with an exhibition of works of Professor Jerzy Duda-Gracz (1941–2004) dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin.
