Agata Szymczewska in Seul

On 25th May, Agata Szymczewska, represented by the Ludwig van Beethoven Association will perform in Seul, during the Seul International Music Festival. Her concert of chamber music at Kumho Art Hall includes works by Mahler, Schnittke, and Shostakovich. The artist will also conduct 5-day master classes with students of the violin, ending in a joint concert by participants and teachers.
Another result of the cooperation between the Association and the Seoul International Music Festival was the concert by Jan Lisiecki, a 15-year-old pianist from Calgary of Polish origin, held on 23rd May. The artist performed F. Chopin’s Piano concerto in F minor accompanied by the Suwon Philharmonic Orchdestra under Daejin Kim.
