The Union is a woman

Elżbieta Penderecka, the President of the Executive Board of Ludwig van Beethoven Association is to participate in the “Union is a Woman” Conference. The event takes place under the honorary patronage of Jerzy Buzek, organised on 3rd June at the Ministry of Economy. The conference will be devoted to the assessment of the women’s role and situation in the public life, five years since Poland’s accession to the European Union and 20 since system transformation. Elżbieta Penderecka will be a guest of the panel “Artists of science and culture: woman in culture, science, and art”. Besides the President of Ludwig van Beethoven Festival, the Panel are Krystyna Janda, director of the Polonia Theatre, and Bożena Walter, President of the TVN Foundation “Nie jesteś sam”.
