Carroll Thomas

The Welshman Thomas Carroll successfully auditioned for Young Concert Artists, Inc. in New York and Young Concert Artists Trust in London, participated in the world premiere of Concerto by Joe Duddel, and performed with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in a concert commemorating the 75th birthday of Alan Hoddinott. He recorded a disc with Quintet by Michael Barkeley for Chandos with the Chilingirian Quartet. As a soloist, Thomas Carroll performed with London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, and Bayerische Rundfunk, and as a chamber musician, he performs with such artists as Collins, Gitlis, Kremer, Maisky, Rachlin, and Belcea and Endellion quartets.
Thomas Carroll is a Professor of the Menuhin School and of Royal College of Music in London.
