She completed her vocal training in the Academy of Music in Warsaw (1985). She is also active in the Polish Kodalya movement (she has been trained in the Kodalya Institute in Hungary). In 1988, she was a finalist in the international vocal competition in Belgrade, she also received a special award of the Composers’ Union of Yugoslavia, followed by 3rd prize in the competition in
Hertogenbosch (1989). Since 1988 she has been a soloist of Warsaw Chamber Opera. She made her debut in Sevilla singing the part of Rosina in The Barber of Seville by G. Paisiello. She performs opera parts from Mozart (Apollo et Hiacinthus, La Finta Giardiniera, The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro). At the Festival of Baroque Operas in Warsaw she sang in Orpheus by Monteverdi, Il San Allessio by F. Landi and Venus and Adonis by J. Blow. She sings at oratorio concerts, and performs her own recitals, usually accompanied by her sister, the pianist Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzękowska. She makes recordings of old Italian music for the Polish Radio, with the ensemble of Collegium Seicento.
