Kur Krzysztof

He completed with honours his vocal training with Professor Kazimierz Pustelak at the Academy of Music and his business studies at Szkoła Główna Handlowa in Warsaw (1996). Since 1992, he has worked for Warsaw Chamber Opera, and cooperated as a soloist with Teatr Wielki and the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. In 1997 and 1998, he took part in the workshops in Cologne as well as the workshops run by Maestro Gustav Kuhn in Gütersloh (Germany) where he had travelled on the invitation of Bertelsmann Foundation. He sang at the Rosenheim Operntage Festival during the Gala performance, he also sang the part of Manostanos in The Magic Flute by Mozart (1997). He took part in Tiroler Festspiele Erl, where he sang the part of Mime in Wagner’s Rhinegold conducted by G. Kuhn; then he repeated the performance at Teatro di San Carlo in Naples (1998). These concerts were recorded by Arte Nova Classics and published on CDs.
Krzysztof Kur has made a number of recordings for the Polish Radio and appeared on several music programmes on Polish Television. He participated in the recordings of The Kurpie Songs by K. Szymanowski, Passion by J. Elsner conducted by J. Kaspszyk. He performed in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, the US and Canada.
