In 1984-90, she studied singing and violin at the Academy of Music in Warsaw. She participated in interpretation mastercourses in Weimar, held by Hanne-Lore Kuhse and Paweł Lisician (1989-90). In 1988, she started cooperating with Warsaw Chamber Opera. She took part in three Mozart Festivals in Warsaw, performing the parts of Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte, Sextus in The Clemency of Titus and Ramir in La finta giardiniera. She also participated in the First Festival of Baroque Operas, where she sang the part of Messaggiera in Orpheus by Monteverdi and in three consecutive Mozart Festivals in Madrid. In 1989, she recorded the songs of Chopin for Hessischer Rundfunk.
