Mace Amanda

She was born in Rolia, Missouri (USA). In 1999 she completed her training with Professor Gustavo Hallay at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has been the recipient of a scholarship of the Wagner Society in New York and Washington, as well as the laureate of “Die Meistersinger” Competition in the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz (Austria). She sang parts in the operas of Ariadne on Naxos, Tosca, Sister Angelica, Der Mantel and in the first act of The Valkyrie (concert performances). She performed oratorio parts in: the Mass by Rossini with Oregon Bach Festival Orchester, Ah! Perfido with Beethoven Akademie Antwerpen, Requiem by Verdi with Bach Orchester Hannover, Symphony No 9 by Beethoven with NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover and Credo by Penderecki and Te Deum by Bruckner with Oregon Bach Festival Orchester conducted by Helmuth Rilling.
The planned performances of Amanda Mace include e.g. Beethoven’s Symphony No 9 with Bamberger Symphonikern, Mendelssohn’s Elijah with Minnesota Orchester, concert performances of Beethoven’s Fidelio under H. Rilling, and Beethoven’s Mass in C major in Rotterdam under Markus Stenz.
