Pianist and conductor who has been given many prestigious awards such as European Culture Award.
He was born in 1984. He took his first piano lessons at the age of three. Soon after that he started giving concerts and he attracted media’s and broad audience’s attention. The artist comes from the old French count family. He learnt music with Jiri Malat in Prague, with Peter Eicher in Mancheim, Jorma Panula in Helsinki and with professor Olga Rissin – Morenova in Karlsruhe, and he graduated musical school there with suma cum laude diploma.
In a very short time he became somebody more than just “an infant-prodigy”.
Today he is famous for his versatile talent and education. His interpretations of classical and romantic piano literature were highly acclaimed thanks to his unique artistic commitment and great temperament. He has cooperated with many great orchestras such as: Prague and St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestras, Salzburger Mozarteum, Berlin Chamber Philharmonic, Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and Charleston Symphony Orchestra.
His CD with pieces by Mozart was released by EMI in 1998. The artist has recorded Piano concerto No. 1 and No. 5 by Beethoven with Academy of St. martin in the Fields and Sir Neville Mariner for BMG Classics. In November 2001 he came out as a conductor with Chamber Orchestra in palatine spa and then he toured with the orchestra in Germany and the States playing and conducting from behind the piano. For his remarkable success he has been given many awards such as: European Culture Award “Prix de l’Espoir d’Europe” in Paris in 1999, European Culture and Economical Union Award “Pro Europa” in Luzer in 2003, Cultural Award in Baden in 2004. In September 2004 in Kaisersaal in Frankfurt he got Young Artist European Award for his merits as an eminent young conductor.
