Pańko Małgorzata

Małgorzata Pańko graduated from the Academy of Music in Warszawa where she had studied with Krystyna Szostek-Radkowa (2003); she has attended the master classes of Marjana Lipovšek, Alfred Burgstaller, Ileana Cotrubas, Denyce Graves, Albert Zeddy, Claudia Eder and Margarita Lilova. She has won prizes in numerous singing competitions including Ada Sari Competition in Nowy Sącz, the Polish Artistic Song Competition in Warszawa (first prize) and the competition in Duszniki Zdrój (first prize and the Grand Prix). She is a valued performer, especially of oratoria and cantatas, chamber music and songs. She has performed in Poland (Verdi's Requiem in the National Philharmonic House) but also in Austria, Germany, Russia (Penderecki's Polish Requiem in St Petersburg), the Czech Republic, North Korea, Slovakia.
In the National Opera House she has sung in the operas by Tchaikovsky, Giordano, Berg, Mozart, Kurpiński and Ptaszyńska. Last year she performed and recorded Cherubini's Lodoiska.
