Agnieszka Piass (soprano), studied singing with Katarzyna Rymarczyk at the Academy of Music in Poznań (2002) and continued her studies with Christian Elsner at the Hochschule für Musik in Dresden, she also received a scholarship from the DAAD Foundation in Bonn (2004). From 1998-2007 she won awards at various singing competitions including in Wrocław and Warszawa (Poland) and Rheinsberg. She has performed in Berlin, Rheinsberg, Lviv, Poznań, Wrocław, Frankfurt, Warszawa, Szczecin, Dresden, Bamberg with such conductors as Kazimierz Kord, Stefan Stuligrosz, Kurt Masur, Krzesimir Dębski. Since 2005 apart from songs and oratoria she has also begun appearing in operas with a repertoire ranging from the leading parts in Mozart's works to contemporary music.
She is engaged by the Chamber Opera in Warszawa, the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk and the Buffo Theatre in Warszawa.
