Rudner Ola

Ola Rudner began his career as a violinist. Following his victory at the Paganini Competition he became the assistant of the legendary Sandor Végh and the concert master of Camerata Salzburg, the Volksoper Vienna and the Vienna Symphonic Orchestra. In 1995 he founded Philharmonia Wien and was its first conductor. Since 1997 he has conducted all the major Australian and Scandinavian orchestras and collaborated with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Belgrade Philharmonic, the Lativan National Philharmonic, Orchestra Fondazione Arena di Verona and Niederösterreichisches Tonkünstlerorchester.
From 2001-03 he was Chief Conductor of the Tasmanian Symphonic Orchestra in Australia, and later of the Haydn Orchestra Bolzano (2003/04). Currently he conducts the Vienna Volksoper and in concert halls of Australia, Austria, Sweden, Italy. He has performed with the BBC, the Symphonic Orchestra of the Frankfurt Radio, the Oslo Philharmonics, the RAI Orchestra Turin, the Slovenian Philharmonics, SWR-Sinfonieorchester, the Luxemburg Philharmonics.
