Żukowski Radosław


Born in Wrocław in 1995, he graduated from the Academy of Music there in 1982 (Irena Gałuszko’s class) with a special award for “academic excellence.” He is a laureate of numerous competitions, including A. Didur, Bytom 1981 (Main Prize, 5 citations); P. Tchaikovsky, Moscow 1982; F. Viñas, Barcelona 1982 (Main Prize) and Voci Verdiane, Busetto 1982 (Main Prize).
Mr Żukowski possesses an extensive repertoire of opera and oratorio parts. As soloist of the Wrocław Opera, he collaborates with Poznań TV and Lisbon’s Gran Teatro S`Carlo. He is a frequent guest performer in philharmonic stages in Poland and abroad; he has participated in many festivals, including those in Bayreuth, Bad Hersfeld, Leipzig (Bach Fest), Bruxelles (Jubilate Polonia `94), Wrocław (Wratislavia Cantans), Kraków (Krzysztof Penderecki Festival, 1998), Santander, Tokyo (European Music Festival), Jerusalem (Sacred Music Festival) and Dresden (Bach Festival).
