Alla Polacca, the children's and youth choir has been affiliated to the National Theatre in Warsaw for 60 years. It consists of over 200 young enthusiasts of music who rehearse and perform in different age groups. The members of Alla Polacca have participated in many operas staged at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw. Alla Polacca performs music of all epochs. The repertoire consists of a cappella pieces as well as those accompanied by chamber orchestra, harp, piano or organ. The choir has produced many archival recordings of Polish contemporary music for Polish Radio and Television. On numerous occasions, modern composers have entrusted Alla Polacca with the premiere performance of their music. The choir has documented its artistic achievements on many CDs and tapes. They have also taken part in numerous competitions in Poland and abroad, winning the highest awards (France, Italy, USA, Spain, Poland, Israel, Great Britain, Swiss and Ukraine).
