Yulia was born in 1994 in Moscow. Since 2003, she has been a student at the Central Music School affiliated to Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
She had her first solo concert in the “Na Kislovke” Concert Hall in Moscow, when she was eight.
Yulia is the laureate of international competitions including Bulgaria’s Friends (Moscow, 2001, Grand Prix), 5th Television Competition of the Young Musicians “Nutcracker” (Moscow, 2004), ROTARI (Moscow, 2005), and the All-Russian Competition “Young Russia Talents” (Kaliningrad, 2005, Grand Prix).
She took part in a range of musical events including “Friends Meeting” in Albena (Bulgaria, 2001), “New names” (Nizhny Novgorod, 2004), Forum-dialogue in Venice (April, 2005, Theatre La Fenice), “Moscow meets friends” (Moscow, 2005 and 2006), the International Festival in Colmar (France, 2005), and the 4th Piano Festival in Warsaw (Poland, 2006).
Julia has performed in the best concert halls of Moscow, and has often performed at major political occasions, as e.g. the meeting of presidents in Konstantinovsky Palace in St Petersburg (July 2004), the G8 Summit (2006), and other notable events.
As a soloist, she has performed with the Moscow Virtuosos orchestra, Moscow Soloists, Kremlin, Musica Viva, Opera of Nice Orchestra, Nizhegrodscy Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, and Beethoven Academy Orchestra. Julia has also performed duos with Maestro Vladimir Spivakov.
In January 2007 she performed Chopin’s Concerto in E minor with Solistes Européens from Luxembourg under the baton of Jack Martin Handler in Cannes. She has toured France, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Spain, Austria and the Baltic countries.
