Riga Opera Festival, Latvian National Opera, 2010
(…) chiefly memorable for Polish soprano Malgorzata Panko’s intense Charlotte – here is a stage animal in the mould of Kristine Opolais, surely bound for bigger things. With Xavier Moreno as her impassioned Werther and Gunta Davidcuka as Sophie, it was an evening of great singing.
