9th Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival

Amidst 22 concerts of the 9th edition of the Festival (15-25 March 2005) there were 4 oratorical, 9 symphonic and 9 chamber concerts. 2000 artists performed at this year edition of the Festival listened by audiences of about 21000.

110 journalists visited this year edition of the Festival. During the festival there were about 200 articles of the festival written, many reviews from the concerts among them. The Festival was covered by the biggest Polish newspapers (Gazeta Wyborcza, Rzeczpospolita, Życie, Życie Warszawy, Super Ekspres), weekly magazines (Newsweek, Polityka, Gala, The Warsaw Voice), biweeklies (Viva, Ruch Muzyczny), monthlies (Gentleman, Twój Styl,) and by foreign press ((Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Tages Spiegel, Sud Deutsche Zeitung, Travel Magazine, Moskiewskie Novosti, La Republique, Europa.ru). The Festival was also broadcast by many Polish radio stations (I PR, II PR, III PR, RMF FM, RMF Classic, Radio PIN, TOK FM) and foreign (Bayern4 Klassik, Radio Figaro). About 30 times the Festival was to viewers by many television stations like TVP1, TVP2, TVP3, TV Polonia. There were many articles on the Internet about the Festival. Our website was very popular during the Festival – there were over 12000 entries.
