Beethoven Academy Orchestra, and soloists Agata Szymczewska (violin) and Izabela Matuła (soprano) represented by the Artistic Management of Ludwig van Beethoven Association will perform in this year’s Young Euro Classic Festival in Berlin. Held in Berlin’s Konzerthaus, the concerts feature not only young orchestras from all over the world but also world and German premieres of music works.
On 16th August, Beethoven Academy Orchestra conducted by maestro Gabriel Chmura will perform the German premiere of Zbigniew Bujarski’s Ogrody (Gardens) for soprano and orchestra. The rest of the evening will be filled with works by Polish 20th-century classics: Karol Szymanowski’s Violin concerto No. 1, Krzysztof Penderecki’s Serenade for strings, and Witold Lutosławski’s Concerto for orchestra.
