The Royal Philharmonic Society has honoured Kirill Karabits with its prestigious Conductor Award.
The annual RPS Awards are the highest recognition for live music-making in the UK. Claudio Abbado was the recipient of last year’s prize, with Ivan Fischer, Valery Gergiev and Vladimir Jurowski also among recent winners.
